A Needy Boy’s Future in Limbo as School Fees Remain Unpaid

Luanda: A form one student at Kibos School for the Blind risks dropping out of school if he fails to pay the requisite school fees. Daniel Otieno, who is living with albinism, is set to join Kibos School for the Blind, but his family cannot afford the admission costs.

According to Kenya News Agency, Daniel sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education in 2023 and was later admitted to a neighboring school. However, he has been unable to continue his education due to severe visual challenges. His mother, Irene Anyango, is a single parent who lost her husband two years ago and is now responsible for four other children.

The family, residing in Luanda in Vihiga County, is appealing to well-wishers to assist in ensuring Daniel can continue his education and pursue his academic aspirations. They can be reached through his mother, Irene Anyango, at 0716 540 231.
