The Bogandé Municipal Special Delegation handed over, on Wednesday August 16, 2023, 16 motorcycles to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) of the locality.
Sixteen “Aloba” type motorcycles with a total cost of 13,480,000 CFA francs, is the gift of the urban municipality of Bogandé, to the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), engaged in securing the national territory.
The official equipment handover ceremony took place on Wednesday August 16, 2023, in the grounds of the Bogandé town hall. In doing so, 10 motorcycles were assigned to the National Police and 6 to the National Gendarmerie.
The first vice-president of the special communal delegation of Bogandé, Alice Bikienga who chaired the ceremony, specified that these rolling means were acquired within the framework of the execution of the communal budget of 2022.
“This donation aims to strengthen the operational capacities of the FDS in order to enable them to best accomplish their missions,” she suggested.
For the beneficiaries, this allocation further strengthens their means of action and demonstrates the willingness and commitment of local authorities to support security personnel in the performance of their tasks.
