Ouagadougou: Former students of the 2005 class of the National School of Telecommunications (ENT), comprising 20 active collaborators, donated two tons of cement and 20 packs of water to the presidential initiative Faso Mebo. They also extended their support by working on the site.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the organizing committee, Dakuo Kounla, known as Abel, stated that this gesture is intended to “contribute to national construction.” He emphasized the commitment of the graduates to respond to the President of Faso’s call by participating in this initiative aimed at building the country.
Mr. Dakuo highlighted that his class had previously been involved at the same site in March 2004 during a competition. He encouraged all Burkinabe to participate in the Faso Mebo initiative, which he described as contributing to nation building and enhancing Burkina Faso’s image internationally.
The donation ceremony included moments of recognition and encouragement for civic engagement, followed by a gathering in Chahifad, approximately 7 km from the Sapone road to Bassyam, for a snack.
