Faso Mebo: The Population of Zogona Offers 10 Tons of Cement and Construction Materials


Ouagadougou: The population of Zogona, led by His Majesty Naaba Poulma, has contributed 10 tons of cement and construction materials as part of the Faso Mebo presidential initiative. The handover took place on Saturday, demonstrating support for the initiative launched by President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traore.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation comprises 10 tons of cement, 15 wheelbarrows, 60 shovels, 60 trowels, 10 watering cans, and 5 packs of gloves. The donation ceremony was held at the headquarters of Faso Mebo, where the chief of Zogona expressed satisfaction with the community’s mobilization in backing Captain Traore’s initiative aimed at fostering development and prosperity in Burkina Faso.



His Majesty Naaba Poulma of Zogona acknowledged that the contribution was made possible by the efforts of the Zogona community. He urged citizens across Burkina Faso to support the presidential initiative, which seeks to construct a new and sovereign Burkina.



The Faso Mebo initiative, established on October 16, 2024, aims to transform the urban landscape of Burkina Faso sustainably. It focuses on development, beautification, sanitation, and urbanization projects across various cities.
