Solenzo: Patriotic immersion graduates cleaned the area around the Solenzo prefecture as well as the courtyard of the urban CSPS 2, on the occasion of their sanitation day organized this Saturday. The 2025 patriotic immersion graduates met at the provincial high school on Saturday, September 20, 2025, morning for a cross-country race, before converging on the prefecture to kick off the sanitation day.

According to Burkina Information Agency, Souleymane Lamizana, spokesperson for the graduates, stated that the day aimed to put into practice the knowledge acquired during the thirty days of immersion. “We started with the sanitation day and we plan to organize ourselves to set up an agriculture and livestock project for the benefit of future generations,” he said.

Armed with dabas and machetes, the participants cut the tall grass and piled it up. Following the prefecture and the CSPS, other departments will also be involved in the cleanup efforts to sanitize public spaces.
