Marcom Circle Unveils Ambitious Plans at 3rd Edition of Meet & Connect


Douala: Meeting for the third time under the banner of the Marcom Circle Meet and Connect, marketing and communications professionals from diverse industries have announced bold moves that could shape the future of the industry.



According to Cameroon News Agency, the Meet and Connect was held on February 28, 2025, in Douala under the theme ‘The State of Marketing and Communications in Cameroon.’ During the event, Vision Bearer Larry Agbor-Nyenty presented the Marcom Circle to members and addressed challenges within the industry. He highlighted issues such as dwindling campaign creativity, a perceived lack of fresh ideas, and the growing frustration of marketing agencies caught between client expectations and the need for impactful results.



Agbor-Nyenty emphasized that Marcom Circle, recently registered, is not just another industry association but a thriving community committed to elevating the profession through excellence, integrity, and collaboration. The organization’s slogan, ‘Connect, Collaborate, and Cultivate,’ reflects this commitment.



To achieve its goals, Agbor-Nyenty announced an ambitious roadmap for Marcom Circle. This includes launching the Marcom Awards, a Marcom Magazine, an annual Marcom Summit, student mentorship programs, and high-impact training sessions like masterclasses and strategy boot camps. These initiatives aim to reposition marketing and communications as a driving force for innovation and business success.



Discussions at the event also focused on analyzing recent impactful campaigns, brainstorming solutions to industry challenges, and demonstrating marketing’s value to business leaders. The gathering featured interactive activities, such as branding challenges and games, providing both insight and entertainment.
