20 Tons of Corn Provided to Displaced Persons at Subsidized Rate


Kompienga: The National Food Security Stock Management Company (SONAGESS), through a demonstration shop, has made 20 tons of corn available at a subsidized price for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Pama residing in Fada N’Gourma. The corn is being sold at a social price of 6,000 CFA francs per 50 kg bag.



According to Burkina Information Agency, approximately 400 IDPs from the commune of Pama living in Fada N’Gourma are benefiting from this initiative. The sale was organized to help mitigate the food challenges faced by these displaced individuals.



The local community has expressed their appreciation for the program and is urging for its continuation to further support those in need.
