Bassitenga: The Provincial Council of CSOs Begins Rotating Visits to Strengthen Activist Ties


Bassitenga: The Provincial Council of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) began on Friday a series of rotating visits to the province’s association leaders as part of the implementation of the office’s action plan and to strengthen ties between activists.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the communications secretary of the Provincial Council of CSOs, Sadou Eric Ouedraogo, stated that this initiative aims to strengthen ties between activists, consolidate fraternity, and make community life more dynamic. “These visits, which we have dubbed ‘the activist’s thirties,’ allow us to demonstrate our solidarity among activists and to support active activists,” he said.



One of the members, Biba Onadja, welcomed the delegation and expressed her honor at this mark of recognition. “I feel the brotherhood and social cohesion among CSOs. This strengthens and motivates activists. It’s a great day for my family and me,” she said happily.



Participants praised the friendly atmosphere which allowed for exchanges and the creation of more connections. According to members of the provincial CSO council, this initiative is relevant and brings activists closer together. They believe it deserves to be repeated.



As for the provincial office, it intends to continue this dynamic, convinced that the strength of the associative movement is based on solidarity, cohesion, and networking between field actors.
