Ouagadougou: As part of the Faso Mebo Presidential Initiative, the Zongo Group, a Burkinabe multi-sector company committed to development, donated 5 tons of cement. "We have heard the call made by His Excellency the President of Faso and, aware of the challenges and responsibilities incumbent upon us as economic actors, we cannot remain on the sidelines of this national dynamic," said the group's representative, Amidou Bani.
According to Burkina Information Agency, the donation was made to demonstrate the Zongo Group's commitment and adherence to the government's vision. The group decided to make this contribution as a reflection of their support for the ongoing national projects.
In addition to the cement donation, the Zongo Group also actively participated in the Faso Mebo team's field activities. Their involvement included tasks such as loading paving stones and transporting materials, showcasing their dedication to the initiative's objectives.
"I would like to send a message of encouragement and recognition to the authorities. We welcome the efforts made for the development of the country and reaffirm our willingness to support all actions in this direction," said Mr. Boni. He further called on all citizens to mobilize, stand alongside the authorities, and work collectively to make the development of Burkina Faso a tangible reality.
