K©n©dougou Provincial Conference Urges Youth to Embrace Popular Progressive Revolution


Orodara: The High Commissioner of K©n©dougou province, Sadou Sakira, has made a compelling call to the youth to actively engage with the Popular Progressive Revolution during a provincial conference organized by the K©n©dougou Provincial Directorate of Youth and Employment. The event took place on Monday, August 4, 2025, in the conference room of the Orodara health district, as a precursor to the 2025 International Youth Day.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the High Commissioner emphasized the importance of collective participation in the Popular Progressive Revolution, initially declared by the President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traor©, on April 2, 2025. Sadou Sakira stressed that the success of this movement relies heavily on the engagement of all Burkinabe citizens, particularly the youth.



The conference aimed to foster understanding and enthusiasm for the Revolution’s goals, encouraging young individuals to act as conduits of its principles within their communities. The event also featured discussions led by Seydou Hi©, the provincial director for Youth, focusing on the Revolution’s challenges, the ambitions of the Confederation of States of the AES (Alliance of Sahel States), and the vision for enhanced African integration.
