Manni Mobilizes Over 29 Million CFA Francs for Development and Security


Manni: The population of Manni, with support from its diaspora, has mobilized more than 29 million CFA francs to bolster local development, strengthen defense and security forces, and assist internally displaced persons, in response to a unity call from the President of Faso.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the people of Manni showed strong commitment and conviction in answering the call of the President of Faso, HE Ibrahim Traor©. This was demonstrated through a ceremony led by PDS Tindano Emmanuel, ADDM Vice President Tindano Tifoudiba, and Lieutenant Sanfo Ghalil Abdoul, who urged the Burkinab¨ to unite against the nation’s security and socio-economic challenges.



The Association for the Development of the Department of Manni (ADDM) successfully raised 29,014,176 CFA francs. These funds are earmarked to support local development, enhance the capabilities of the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), and assist internally displaced persons (IDPs).



In addition to this significant contribution, the Tanyema association donated 100,000 CFA francs for fuel supply. Local authorities and the FDS have welcomed these efforts, which reflect a strong civic commitment and exemplary solidarity between residents and the diaspora.



ADDM Vice President Tindano Tifoudiba emphasized that this initiative should serve as a model for other municipalities, highlighting the proverb, “Alone we go faster, together we go further.” The donations will be used transparently to ensure a genuine impact on beneficiaries.



Speakers at the event quoted Napoleon Bonaparte, stating, “Love of the Fatherland is the first duty of the free man,” as they reaffirmed their support for all structures working towards the progress of Manni.
