Mutengene: CBC Inaugurates Brand New Rehabilitation Center


Mutengene: The Executive President (EP) of the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC), the Rev. Dr. Teke John has inaugurated the denomination’s rehab center. The ceremony took place on Saturday, January 25, in Mutengene, South West Region, in the presence of other CBC leaders including the CBC Director of Health Services, Samuel Ngum; CBC Director of Missions and Evangelism, Rev. Dr. Paul Mokake, and other leaders of the Convention.



According to Cameroon News Agency, the newly inaugurated facility is named the CBC Rehabilitation Training Center of Excellence (RTCE). The center is designed to cater to persons with disabilities, focusing particularly on those with mobility issues. It aims to train individuals on how to use their prosthetics or improve the functionality of their limbs, providing essential support and skills to enhance their daily lives.



Reverend Dr. Teke, the CBC EP, expressed gratitude to the funders from the Netherlands who contributed to making the CBC RTCE a reality. He emphasized the importance of the center as a source of hope for all Cameroonians it will serve, highlighting the positive impact it is expected to have on the community.
