Nayala Authorities Foster Unity Through National Colors Ceremony


Nayala: The High Commissioner of Nayala Province, alongside the constituted bodies, participated in a rotating ceremony of raising the national colors in the prefecture of Toma. The event, held on Monday, emphasized unity, patriotism, and appreciation for local development actors.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the president of the special delegation to Toma, Zakaria Sawadogo, lauded the High Commissioner’s initiative, stating it demonstrates a commitment to the nation and aids in reinforcing social cohesion. He acknowledged the Defense and Security Forces (FDS) and other bodies, noting that the joint raising of the colors promotes a shared patriotic spirit.



In a speech, High Commissioner Honor© Fr©d©ric Par© commended the local stakeholders for their achievements, highlighting Nayala’s academic performance with a 90% success rate in the Primary Examination Certificate, 37.97% in the Preliminary Examination Certificate, and 70% in the baccalaureate, which ranks the province highly in the region.



Mr. Par© expressed gratitude to the FDS for their efforts in reclaiming the territory and thanked health workers for the effective free distribution of mosquito nets and the malaria chemoprevention campaign. He also praised the Environment Department for the successful regional Tree Day celebration and urged department heads to remain committed to their duties.



Additionally, he spoke about ongoing national projects, including a new administrative division and a recently adopted law on freedom of association by the Council of Ministers. He concluded by discussing the patriotic immersion of new graduates, which is underway despite logistical challenges, and encouraged continued dedication from all involved.
