Seno: Action for the Culture of Development (ACD/NAANGUE) mobilized new high school graduates from the Liptako region for a blood donation initiative aimed at supporting the Blood Product Distributor and Collector Depot (DPD/PS). The effort successfully collected over fifty bags of blood, enhancing the supply of this crucial resource in the Sahel region.
According to Burkina Information Agency, ACD NAANGUE coordinator Abdoulaye Soura highlighted that this initiative showcases the young graduates' dedication to solidarity and social responsibility. Soura emphasized that such actions serve as evidence that patriotic immersion can significantly foster citizenship and patriotism.
Mr. Soura commended the donors for their strong participation and punctuality, noting that their contributions are vital for saving lives. He expressed gratitude towards the military hierarchy for supervising the participants, ensuring their availability for this socially significant effort.
Soura encouraged viewing blood donation as a regular civic duty, especially in a context where health facilities have a high demand for blood products. The graduates expressed satisfaction in performing this civic duty and revealed plans for further civic and patriotic activities.
For these graduates, the aim is to extend their commitment from patriotic immersion into tangible community service. Their enthusiasm reflects a readiness to engage in public interest initiatives and apply their learned values practically.
Through this campaign, ACD/NAANGUE underscores its intent to foster a culture of blood donation and enhance patriotism among the youth.
