‘Stop Bothering Yourself’ – Ajagurajah Defends Prophet Uche Against Criticism

Accra: Leader of the Ajagurajah Movement, Prophet Kwabena Asiamah, has stood to the defence of Prophet Eric Boahen Uche after the latter faced intense criticism online following his failed prophecy about the Black Stars in the ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup. Recently, Prophet Uche, while preaching to his congregation, claimed he had seen a vision in which Ghana would lose all three of its group-stage matches at the World Cup. However, after the prophecy, the Black Stars secured a 1-0 victory over Panama in their opening game.

According to Ghana Web, following the match, many social media users criticised Prophet Uche, with some describing him as a 'settings man' and mocking his prediction. Reacting to the criticism, Ajagurajah, in a video shared online, said he was surprised that Prophet Uche had taken time to explain himself publicly. Ajagurajah advised the Reign House Chapel overseer not to allow social media criticism to affect him.

'There is something that troubles me about Prophet Uche. I know him very well. I have known him since the days he used to sell clothes. Most of his prophecies have come to pass. When he shared the prophecy about the Black Stars, some executives from the Ghana Football Association went to meet him. After the meeting, he intervened and changed the whole situation. Now people are insulting him on social media, and he has gone online explaining himself. I don't know why he keeps bothering himself,' he said.

Ajagurajah further stated that, regardless of what others think, he still believes in Prophet Uche and trusts his prophetic ability. 'If no one believes in your prophecies in Ghana, I believe in and trust you. So why are you bothering yourself?' he added.
