Yatenga: The Special Delegation of the commune of Ouahigouya has commenced its 3rd ordinary session of the year under the chairmanship of the prefect President of the special delegation (PDS) of the commune of the city of Naaba Kango, Lucien Amos Lankoande.
According to Burkina Information Agency, for two days, statutory members will review the minutes from the second ordinary session, assess the authorising officer's report, and deliberate on the second amending budget for the 2025 management.
The PDS expressed appreciation for the efforts of the FDS and VDP, who are diligently working to restore peace. Mr. Lankoande encouraged his colleagues to continue their effective use of available resources. He emphasized the importance of strengthening state authority through impartiality and social justice in their services. The PDS stated that adherence to order and discipline, as advocated by the nation's highest authorities, will be upheld to promote endogenous development.
Hinissan Konfe/Gnessien, a session attendee, commended the special delegation's significant contribution to education. She noted that despite limited resources, the delegation supports the operation of Basic Education Districts in Ouahigouya. Madi Belem, representing the technical services, appreciated the thoroughness of the budget report, highlighting its clarity and detail.
Members of the session remain hopeful for positive developments within the commune, which is currently engaged in various development projects.
