High Commissioner Encourages Immersion Program Graduates to Join Community Initiatives

Ouagadougou: The High Commissioner invites graduates of the patriotic immersion program to get involved in community initiatives. The High Commissioner of the province of Ioba, Innocents Ouattara, along with the constituted bodies, welcomed the graduates returning from the patriotic immersion on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the town hall of Dano.

According to Burkina Information Agency, high school graduates from Ioba province returned from the patriotic immersion program, pleasing provincial authorities and their parents. Participants in the program's first edition spent thirty days in Gaoua, where they completed modules on civics, discipline, solidarity, and productivity. Some also participated in a voluntary blood donation, showcasing their commitment to national sovereignty and their readiness to serve the country.

High Commissioner Innocents Ouattara congratulated the graduates for their commitment and participation in the initiative led by Burkina's highest authorities. He encouraged them to share the values they learned with their peers, emphasizing that the experience gained is a significant asset for the country's development. Mr. Ouattara urged the graduates to engage in community initiatives and continue their university studies or professional training to become effective actors for development.

He expressed gratitude to the parents, education stakeholders, and the Defense and Security Forces who supported the government initiative. Mr. Ouattara concluded by urging all immersion students in Ioba province to actively participate in the nation's life. For about thirty minutes, the young high school graduates celebrated through songs and dances, expressing their joy at being part of the program's first edition.
