High Commissioner Engages High School Graduates in Patriotic Immersion at Loumbila


Bam: The High Commissioner of Bam Province, Karim Ouedraogo, visited the Vocational Center of the National Service for Development in Loumbila, Oubritenga province, where high school graduates from his province are immersed in a patriotic program. He was joined by Midon Coulibaly, the Provincial Director of Secondary Education, Vocational and Technical Training of Bam.



According to Burkina Information Agency, the visit took place on a Friday morning, where Ouedraogo and Coulibaly engaged with the graduates, congratulating them on their civic involvement. Ouedraogo emphasized the importance of discipline and pride, encouraging the graduates to be role models and builders of Burkina Faso, and to continue exemplifying these traits wherever they go.



During the visit, the High Commissioner observed the discipline and order adopted by the 1,200 participants, who communicated using terms associated with military language. Ouedraogo remarked that this behavior reflects the program’s emphasis on patriotism, responsibility, and solidarity.



The visit was conducted in a supportive atmosphere, with the attendees expressing their admiration for the High Commissioner and his team through applause.



The program includes more than 500 high school graduates from the Bam province, who are participating alongside peers from Namentenga and Oubritenga, living together and sharing the experience.
