This initiative is set to coincide with the Feast of the Assumption on August 15, 2025, and is organized in collaboration with Catholic church leaders in the region to bring ONI services closer to citizens attending the religious festivities.

According to Burkina Information Agency, the operation will be conducted at several parishes and churches across the Nando region. The schedule for August 15 includes locations such as Moukassa Church in Koudougou, Notre-Dame Parish in Imasgo, Saint Andrew Parish in Kindi, and several other churches across the region. On August 16, the operation will extend to Saint-Luc Parish in Sabou.

The head of the regional branch, Oumarou Sawadogo, has stated that after this first phase, the operation will continue in other localities within the region, maintaining the goal of facilitating access to the CNIB for all citizens. He has urged all the faithful and those interested in enrolling to visit the designated sites with the necessary documents, including a birth certificate extract or supplementary birth certificate judgment, a Burkinabe nationality certificate for those born outside the country, and a certificate of loss declaration for lost CNIBs.

The registration fee for obtaining the CNIB has been set at 2,500 CFA francs.
