Miami International Holdings Reports November 2022 Trading Results; SPIKES Futures, MIAX Options and MIAX Pearl Equities Set Year-to-Date Volume Records

PRINCETON, N.J., Dec. 7, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Miami International Holdings, Inc. today reported November 2022 trading results for its U.S. exchange subsidiaries – MIAX^®, MIAX Pearl^® and MIAX Emerald^® (together, the MIAX Exchange Group), and Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX).

November 2022 Trading Volume Highlights

Total U.S. multi-listed options market share for the MIAX Exchange Group reached 13.55%, representing a 2.4% year-over-year (YoY) decrease. A total of 115.1 million multi-listed options contracts were executed on the MIAX Exchange Group, representing a 7.7% decrease YoY and an average daily volume (ADV) of 5.5 million contracts. Total year-to-date (YTD) volume reached 1.2 billion contracts, a decrease of 3.4% from the same period in 2021.
MIAX Options reported record YTD volume of 501.2 million contracts, up 4.5% from the same period in 2021, with volume reaching 51.2 million contracts in November 2022, a 1.5% YoY increase. Additionally, MIAX Options reported a single day volume record of 3.9 million contracts on November 11, 2022. MIAX Emerald reported YTD volume of 289.9 million contracts, a 17.2% decrease from the same period in 2021, with volume totaling 26.3 million contracts in November 2022, a 34.0% YoY decrease. MIAX Pearl reported YTD volume of 392.4 million contracts, a 0.8% decrease from the same period in 2021, with volume totaling 37.6 million contracts in November 2022, a 9.4% YoY increase.
In U.S. equities, MIAX Pearl Equities reported volume of 2.4 billion shares in November 2022, representing a 49.2% increase YoY and a monthly market share of 1.02%. Total YTD volume reached a record 27.4 billion shares, a 200.3% increase from the same period in 2021.
In U.S. futures, MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reported trading volume of 235,460 contracts in November 2022, a 44.0% decrease YoY. Total YTD volume reached 3.1 million contracts, a decrease of 14.5% from the same period in 2021.
SPIKES^® Futures YTD volume reached a record 752,135 contracts, an 11.4% increase YoY. SPIKES Futures volume totaled 34,092 contracts in November 2022, representing a 75.1% decrease YoY and an average daily volume of 1,623 contracts.

St Kitts and Nevis upgrades its citizenship by investment programme to boost its hospitality industry

Basseterre, Dec. 07, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Saint Kitts and Nevis is boosting its local hospitality and tourism sector with investments received through its citizenship by investment programme.

This is according to the recently elected Prime Minister of the twin-island federation who concluded a four-day visit to Dubai, from 29 November to 3 December 2022.

Prime Minister Terrance Drew was in the state to engage with important stakeholders including high-level government officials, international investors, government-approved agents and promoters, who play a vital role in promoting and supporting the country’s recently upgraded citizenship by investment programme.

With the country’s citizenship by investment programme undergoing a facelift, Prime Minister Drew said the changes to the programme were not just superficial but would ensure that the programme achieved what it was designed for – strengthening St Kitts and Nevis’ economy.

Traditionally, the economy of the two-island state has depended on the growing and processing of sugar cane, but the impact of decreasing world prices on this commodity over the last few decades has moved the government’s attention to tourism, export-oriented manufacturing, and offshore banking.

Tourism is the mainstay of St Kitts and Nevis’ economy, with the United States, Canada and Trinidad and Tobago being some of its trop trade partners. The travel and tourism sector accounted for one-tenth of the gross domestic product (GPD) in St Kitts and Nevis in 2021 and it is estimated that roughly 200,000 tourists visited the islands in 2009.

With a revamped citizenship by investment programme that will be underpinned by better legislative and administrative oversight, Prime Minister Drew said he was confident that the programme would have even more impact on the country’s tourism sector.

The new cabinet aims to ensure that the destination continues to make strides towards the full resumption of tourism activity, including the return of airlift and cruise ship arrivals, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life of the people of the Federation.

St Kitts and Nevis is committed to enhancing its tourism presence and strengthening the economic impact of the tourism sector.

Recently during November this year, Wonder of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, made its inaugural call to Port Zante in St Kitts and Nevis. The ship from the Royal Caribbean Group brought along nearly 6,500 guests and over 2,000 crew members. This cruise call has also been the fifth inaugural cruise call to St Kitts and Nevis since October 2022.

This year, on November 26, a superyacht named Evrima made its inaugural visit to the island sporting the finest amenities and affluent guests. Evrima accommodates 298 guests and is the first of the yachts to be introduced for the new Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection line. This event maintained St Kitts and Nevis’ reputation as an exclusive destination.

According to the CIA World Factbook, tourists, mainly Americans, come to the island via cruise ships via Port Zante in Basseterre, air travel via Robert L Bradshaw International Airport, and the private airport and private dock for private yachts. St Kitts and Nevis is also home to Brimstone Hill Fortress, a UNESCO world heritage site.

The country’s citizenship by investment programme has been instrumental in bringing globally renowned brands such as the Park Hyatt Hotel that has recently been launched in Christophe Harbour in Banana Bay. The country will be looking to use its revamped citizenship by investment programme to develop its hospitality sector further which is a major drawcard not just for tourists, but investors looking for legitimate offshore real estate products to buy into.

Part of the change process has seen consultations with various stakeholders in the St Kitts and Nevis CBI unit who will closely now monitor and ensure that real estate projects funded by the CBI programme are completed. To this end, the government is also seeking out reliable and trustworthy developers who are ready to put capital behind creative and strong projects that will further enhance St Kitts and Nevis citizenship by investment offering.

لا يزال 72٪ من المستثمرين في دولة الإمارات يؤمنون بالأصول الرقمية، على الرغم من اضطرابات أسواق الأصول الرقمية

دبي، الإمارات العربية المتحدة, 7 ديسمبر / كانون أول 2022 /PRNewswire/ — كشف بنك ستاندرد تشارترد اليوم عن تقرير توقعات الثروات لعام 2022 والذي يدرس التغييرات التي تشهدها قرارات المستثمرين وتأثيرها على فئات الأصول الاستثمارية الرئيسية في أكثر من 14 دولة، بما في ذلك دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.

ويظهر التقرير، الذي يستطلع آراء أكثر من 15,000 من الأثرياء وأصحاب الثروات ( HNW )، أن 61٪ من المستثمرين المحليين يديرون ثرواتهم بشكل أكثر فاعلية ويقومون بتغيير استراتيجياتهم الاستثمارية في ظل التحديات الاقتصادية العالمية التي يشهدها العالم في الوقت الحالي.

التفوق على التضخم المالي

أشار المستثمرون في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة أن أبرز التحديات التي تشكل قلق لهم تضم كل من التضخم (30٪) وخطر الركود (21٪) وعدم اليقين من أداء الاقتصاد العالمي (20٪). ويعد ارتفاع التضخم (34٪) والركود (27٪) والاقتصاد العالمي غير المستقر (22٪) من المخاوف الرئيسية للمستثمرين على المستوى الدولي أيضًا.

وفي العام الماضي، قام المستثمرون في دولة الإمارات بعدد من الاجراءات الاحترازية، مثل تخفيض الإنفاق (29٪) واتخاذ قرارات جديدة حول محافظهم المالية (27٪)، الامر الذي قد يؤدي إلى تحركات ملحوظة في فئات الأصول الرئيسية.

ولتجاوز التضخم، يتطلع 61٪ من المستثمرين العالميين إلى تقليل حيازاتهم النقدية، مقارنة بـ 71٪ في الإمارات العربية المتحدة. ويتوقع بنك ستاندرد تشارترد بأن تنخفض المخصصات النقدية في المحافظ المالية على مستوى العالم من 26٪ في عام 2022 إلى 15٪ في عام 2023، وذلك وفقًا لاستجابات المستثمرين.

كما يعيد المستثمرون النظر في حيازاتهم للأسهم مع ظل زيادة تقلبات السوق، على الرغم من أن فئة الأصول هذه ستظل جزءًا لا يتجزأ من المحافظ المالية. ومن بين أولئك المستثمرون، هناك مؤشر على أن تخصيص الأسهم في محافظ المستثمرين في دولة الإمارات سينخفض من 10.1٪ إلى 6.9٪ في العام المقبل بناءً على ردود الاستطلاع.

وتعليقًا على التقرير، قال الدكتور أوين يونغ، رئيس إدارة الثروات والأثرياء في إفريقيا والشرق الأوسط وأوروبا في بنك ستاندرد تشارترد : “يواجه المستثمرون في دولة الإمارات واقعًا معقدًا، في ظل قلقهم الناتج عن التضخم وخطر الركود وأداء الاقتصاد العالمي غير المؤكد، الأمر الذي يتماشى مع تحديات المستثمرين حول العالم. وقد كشف تقرير ستاندرد تشارترد بأن المستثمرين في الإمارات يقومون بإجراء تغييرات على محافظهم المالية استجابة لهذه التحديات العالمية، الأمر الذي يرفع من أهمية اتخاذ قرارات تساهم في تحقيق أهدافهم على المدى الطويل وتأخذ عين الاعتبار البيئة الاقتصادية العالمية.”

والجدير بالذكر أن الذهب لا يزال في هذا العام يحظى باهتمام كبير من قبل المستثمرين في دولة الإمارات، حيث قال 51٪ بإنهم قد استثمروا بفئة الأصول هذه نتيجة للتضخم. هذا بالإضافة إلى التركيز على الاستثمار في الأسهم ذات القيمة (45٪) والسندات (45٪) ضمن استراتيجيتهم لمكافحة التضخم المالي العالمي خلال عام 2022.

وتستمر الاستثمارات المستدامة في تلقي اهتمام المستثمرين ورؤوس أموالهم، وذلك بالرغم من استمرار مخاوف الغسل الأخضر( Greenwashing ). كما يتوقع أكثر من نصف المستثمرين العالميين (52٪) زيادة استثماراتهم المستدامة في عام 2023 بينما يؤكد 54٪ من المستثمرين في الإمارات بأنهم سيفعلون ذلك.

تستمر الأصول الرقمية في إثارة اهتمام المستثمرين

يكشف التقرير أن 72٪ من المستثمرين المحليين ما زالوا يعتقدون أن الأصول الرقمية هي جزء مهم من أي محفظة استثمارية، على الرغم من الانتكاسات المتعددة في السوق هذا العام. ففي الوقت الحالي، يمتلك 66٪ من المستثمرين العالميين أصولًا رقمية، مقارنة بـ 73٪ في الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وبالنظر إلى المستقبل، يخطط 71٪ من المستثمرين المحليين الذين شملهم الاستطلاع لزيادة استثماراتهم في الأصول الرقمية في العام المقبل. ويرجع ذلك جزئيًا إلى أن الكثيرين قالوا إنهم قد رأوا أشخاصًا يحققون عوائد كبيرة من الأصول الرقمية (36٪)، بينما 36٪ من المستثمرين في الدولة يعتبرونها طريقة جيدة لتنويع محافظهم. ومع ذلك، من المهم ملاحظة أن هذا الاستطلاع قد تم إجراؤه قبل انهيار FTX وأن أحداث الأسابيع القليلة الماضية قد تضعف هذا الشعور.

مساعدة المستثمرين على اتخاذ قرارات أفضل

بينما يدير معظم المستثمرين العالميين الذين شملهم الاستطلاع (62٪) أموالهم الخاصة بشكل أساسي، مع بعض الاختلاف عبر الأسواق، يستخدم العديد من المستثمرين في دولة الإمارات (37٪) مديري ثروات محترفين. وفي المتوسط، عبر 14 سوقًا، من المرجح أن يستخدم 63% من المستثمرين الأصغر سنًا (18-35) مديري ثروات محترفين مقارنة بـ 39 ٪ من المستثمرين الذين تتعدى أعمارهم 55 عاما. وبشكل عام، يرجح أن يحظى المستثمرون الذين يستفيدون من المشورة المهنية بمحافظ متنوعة وحيازات أعلى في الاستثمارات المستدامة.

تقرير توقعات الثروات 2022

إصدار 2022 من تقرير توقعات الثروات الصادر عن ستاندرد تشارترد هو الإصدار الثالث منذ عام 2019.

تم إجراء البحث في 14 سوقًا بما في ذلك البر الرئيسي للصين والهند وباكستان والإمارات وفيتنام وهونغ كونغ وكينيا ونيجيريا وإندونيسيا وتايوان وماليزيا وتايلاند وسنغافورة وكوريا الجنوبية. كما تم إجراء العمل الميداني عبر الإنترنت في الفترة ما بين 26 سبتمبر و18 أكتوبر 2022 واستطلعت آراء 15206 مشاركًا في المجمل.

يتم تصنيف المستهلكين الأثرياء إلى ثلاث مجموعات، مع الأخذ بعين الاعتبار دخلهم ومجموع أصولهم القابلة للاستثمار (أو الأصول المدارة): (أ) الأثرياء الناشئون و (ب) الأثرياء الراسخون يتم تحديدهم بناءً على عتبات الدخل الخاصة بالسوق والأصول المدارة، بينما (ج) الأفراد ذوي الملاءة المالية العالية هم أولئك الذين لديهم أصول مُدارة بقيمة مليون دولار أمريكي أو أكثر، بغض النظر عن بلد إقامتهم.

‫ ‫صافي أرباح “كابيتال للاستثمارات” تقفز بنسبة 46% وتصل إلى 5.64 مليون دولار مع نهاية الربع الثالث من العام الجاري

عمان ، الأردن ودبي ، الإمارات العربية المتحدة7 ديسمبر / كانون أول 2022/PRNewswire/ — أعلنت مجموعة كابيتال للاستثمارات عن ارتفاع صافي أرباحها مع نهاية الربع الثالث من العام الجاري بنسبة 46% لتصل إلى قرابة 5.64 مليون دولار. وبلغت الإيرادات في نفس الفترة من العام الجاري نحو 11.56 مليون دولار، فيما ارتفعت قيمة الأصول المد ا رة إلى 541 مليون دولار أمريكي بنسبة نمو 27%.

وأعرب الرئيس التنفيذي ل مجموعة كابيتال للاستثمارات، مروان حدّاد عن ثقته في المركز المالي للمجموعة وقدرتها على تحقيق أهدافها المرجوة في كافة قطاعات الأعمال التي توفرها في أسواق الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وأسواق دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي .
